Finally,the newest cosplays *_*

Has been about six months since I last did something new or updated new photos, but the time finally came At the past two weekends happened the biggest brazilian convention called Anime Friends where I could debut my new and precious costumes, that I was working so hard on and being so anxious for wearing it!

Hetalia is something that we were planning cosplaying for a VERY LONG TIME and it was being postponed for lack of money, most of the times, until we got this plan of sticking to it to the end. Also is something very difficult, because there's a lot of characters that I love, so "what to cosplay first?" HAHAHAHA What's a very rare thing for me, because every time that I know a series, I usually identify myself with just one character who owns my heart, but Hetalia has something that turns IMPOSSIBLE to do that, reason why we have, not only a lot of versions at our "to-do" list, but a lot of characters too. And the most amazing thing about Hetalia is that it's not just about the characters, there's a lot of things implied to it, and I never stop getting surprised of getting more and more loves at my heart, characters that keep captivating me as long as the time passes by, the more I watch, the more I follow the work. That's exactly what happened to Prussia, for me. He was a character who bloomed at my life, showing so many more things and getting a meaning that simply conquered my heart. When me and Anne decided cosplaying Germancest, we chose making this kinda "original" uniform, totally based on SS military clothing, since World War II is something that ALWAYS interested us, even when Hetalia didn't exist. We alway studied the Third Reich and saw documentaries over the subject, so we just joined two things that we admire at once, but I'd like to make myself clear that we're NEVER making apologies to Nazi's racism and hate, that we don't follow nazi thoughts, that we're not even german blood related (even though Anne has germans at her family). So, besides making the costumes for Germany and Prussia, we're NOT nazis, we don't hate anyone my skintone or religion, or anything like that. What happened at WWII with the victims was the most terrible thing and we'd never open our hearts to such a feeling. It's just a historical admiration AND our love for military clothing as well, hahahaha.

Anyway, I think our future new versions are going to be less polemical than this one, HAHAHA. It was amazing and fun wearing this anyway, I love the characters and their interaction and now that we started making Hetalia cosplays, I truly don't want to stop it anymore, HAHAHAHA. I'm going to get a new wig for Prussia, though.
